Holly Joynes
I am a graphic communicator specialising in branding. During the last year I have focused on creating campaigns around brand extensions. Basing my designs on sound research of audience and the brands current identity has been the centre of my work. I enjoy creating event graphics that challenge audience behaviour or create a sense of occasion.
I love working under pressure in the design environment. Alongside university this year I have taken part in fund-raising for the Graduate Show committee including organising several events. I also had a placement at Illuminate Lighting Ltd, where I designed and installed light installations at several events around Birmingham. This placement led me to volunteer for Plus design festival.
Knowing the value of the practical side of design; sourcing material and creating feasible working designs is important to me. Constant development of my design skills and a thirst for knowledge has helped me through university and I hope to continue this in a professional environment.
